Hardcastle
Hardcastle has been a resident artist for the English spanking magazine 'Janus' since the early eighties. He is considered as one of the greats among artists in the CP genre because his work is so compelling. Janus received so many letters praising the quality of his drawings that they brought out a special publication called 'The Janus Collection - The Hardcastle Edition'
The phrase 'every picture tells a story' is particularly apt for Hardcastle's work, and his illustrations add a unique and fresh dimension to the stories they accompany.
It is not simply his technical skill as a draughtsman. The ravishing fleshy curves that make the hand itch to smack, the silky tones of skin, the hair one feels could actually be stroked, the tension of the nubile body bent to receive the chastisement – all bear witness to deeper and more subtle forces at work behind the mere stroke of his pencil.
To me, Hardcastle's drawings convey a sensuous fascination for the subject they portray, which is why I find his work so attractive. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I do. It was a real pleasure finding them all.
