Leone Frollo
Leone Frollo translated from the Italian becomes, interestingly enough, Tender Lion, which may in itself provide some insight into the personality of this Venetian artist.
The little information I have been able to glean on the net informs me that Frollo is the creator of such characters as Lucifera and Biancaneve, Naga and other fascinating heroines, all of whom have made Frollo one of the pillars of Italian erotic drawing.
Obviously an accomplished and professional artist, Frollo is also well known as a comic strip artist, as shown here by the inclusion of the first 3 images which are taken from the character 'Mona Street'. The style of the work suggests an artistic activity around the 1930s, but the sensuous skill displayed in these drawings and water colours is timeless.
